If you have pre-lotted your auction, the selling data entry screen looks like this. For each lot you are about to sell, the description, seller information and any reserve or appraisal values that you had already entered will appear. Enter the hammer price and buyer number, and then click OK to post the sale. There's an extra space available at the end of this line to enter a ring number, clerk's initials or sheet number if you like. If you have lots containing multiple quantities, you will enter the quantity you are selling in this transaction and the unit selling price. The software calculates the extended sale price for you.
